tell me you took the 944 to ask about the 911.
In other news, the CLK430 is throwing a tantrum.

944 is at home currently; the FoST was taken. What's wrong with the CLK?

LAMEEEE you could have scored points with the guys there.
CLK needs valve cover gaskets at the least. Front brake rotors are looking worn, rears all look fine.
Needs a serious detailing, that will be Thursday, nearly all day. Its pretty bad. No pics because its that bad.
Engine seems to have a bit of a tick at idle, not a rough idle, but it does seem to rock the whole car a little, and its not the kind of car that should rock like that.
Maybe fouled plugs or old gas, but Im not sure at the monent. When I take it out for a longer drive Ill find out. It certainly is not happy. Its also sat for a longer amount of time than it should have, which hasnt helped anything.

They know about the car, I've been there a couple times in the past before the 944, but I never inquired about the 911.
Sounds like you've got some fun work ahead. :)

Well, sometimes I go with the magnum to talk to they guys...but its going to get an autocross setup for next year I think.

I went to inquire about what might be wrong with the 911. And if the 944's bumper could be fixed..

fixing bumpers...hm. you could do most of it yourself, and then have a paint shop blend it. The previous owner of my magnum did it. I replaced the whole bumper anyway though.

Oh it's not paint, it needs to be reshaped without failure. It's plastic and over 30 years it's been deformed.
Here's what mine looks like:
Here's what it would look like in pristine condition:
I could buy a new fiberglass one, but it'd cost at least $500 and it'd have to be painted too. -_-
